Modification of Brano ridge lifter for containers –
Use:
- for building into machinery for the purpose of lifting the moving part of the structure
- examples of use – for lifting lids and roofs of containers, handling sluice gates of water tanks, lifting combs or barriers in sewage treatment plants, tensioning stations of cable cars
- many other manual lifting and lowering applications
Properties:
- robust, simple construction
- standard 2 variants, 3 comb lengths
- after consultation with the manufacturer, the possibility of delivery of extended strokes
- the basic version (marked "CON") allows flexible adaptation of the jack for building into the structure in "wall-mounted" design (designation "CON-W") ready for assembly using built-in handles and holes at the ends of the comb bar
- acceptable control force on the hand crank
Notice:
When installing the comb jack in the CON and CON-W version, it is necessary to ensure the correct orientation of the jack with respect to its load. The pressure (tensile) load of the rack rod must always act in the direction from the hub of the crank to the latches (diagram - see below), never the other way around.
However, under tensile load, the lift of the rack jack will be less than that shown in the table. For a load capacity of 2.5t by 230mm, for a load capacity of 5t by 250mm and for a load capacity of 10t by 360mm.
In order to achieve the stroke for tensile load according to the table, it is possible to customize the position of the teeth on the rack bar.
